Jake Gleason, MPT, OCS graduated from Cal State Long Beach in 2003 with his Masters in Physical Therapy. In 2005 his graduate research project was published in Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise. In 2006 Jake earned his certification as an orthopeadic clinical specialist. Jake's 1st love remains in sports and orthopeadic rehab as he continues his career at FreeMotion Physical Therapy.
Cary Costa, DPT, is a recent DPT graduate of Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He started his physical therapy interest early on while running in high school and college. Cary ran at Western Oregon University achieving academic and athletic all-conference status. His undergrad degree was in Biology and he went on to obtain his Masters degree in Teaching from WOU. Cary moved to Southern California where he taught Biology and coached track and cross-country at Capo Valley High School for two years. He decided to pursue a career in physical therapy and moved to Pittsburgh. Cary graduated from PT school with Magnum Cum Laude honors. Cary is still actively running and runs semi-professionally continuously taking part in nation-wide races. He and his team just won first place in Ragnar: Las Vegas out of almost 500 teams. Cary now assists at Dana Hills High School in their cross country and track programs.
